Wendy Perry is the CEO and Co-Founder of Catalyst Executive Advising and Development (C.E.A.D.). She leads a team of professional consultants and human performance experts that is poised to partner with organizations to coach leaders and develop high potential leadership candidates. Her life is a compelling story of determination and leading beyond one’s circumstances. With an exceptional blend of professional leadership training, practical real-world experiences, and exacting standards forged in the military and healthcare industry, Wendy has emerged as a gifted leader, advisor, and mentor. Wendy honed her leadership skills as a Registered Nurse and U.S. Army Officer with over 20 years of experience, serving teams across the globe. The diversity of her experience as a clinician, human resources expert, and educator is unparalleled. Having served in key leadership roles in medical facilities, academic institutions, and executive agencies, Wendy believes that the common factor of success or failure in each organization has been the impact of leadership.
Wendy earned her M.S. in Health Services Leadership and Management from the University of Maryland. She earned Executive Coaching Certification from the Sherpa Learning Institute at the University of Georgia. Wendy is a graduate of the V-Wise Entrepreneur Program at Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Diversity Chair on the Board of Directors for the CSRA Chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management, and most recently was appointed to the Advisory Council for Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia. Wendy is a community leader. She serves as a Mentor for the Women of Worth program at the Mosaic Center, as a Life Skills volunteer for SafeHomes Augusta, and has served as the keynote for numerous organizations and events in the Augusta River Region and across the U.S.. She partners with Victory Over Violence to empower women who have been victims of Domestic Violence, and in her free time she enjoys talking to young ladies about the Journey through Puberty. She and her husband lead the Marriage Ministry at Oakey Grove Baptist Church and served as the Director Couple for Family Life’s Weekend to Remember Marriage Conference in 2017 and 2018, ministering to more than 500 married couples. They host a weekly live broadcast on Facebook entitled, “Inside Marriage”.
